Screaming Smith sure got Terrell Owens to talk! So TO is coming back into our lives. The Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings and SF 49ers all need a wide receiver. So who will be the lucky team to sign the future Hall of Famer? The St. Louis Rams are my pick based on their having the best quarterback of the bunch and their thinking of getting TO or Randy Moss as recently as last season. Fantasy Football Players pick up TO NOW! This is the very definition of Low Risk High Reward!

2011 NFL Week 3 Picks

Week 3 is upon us and I am feeling great about my picks once again after going 11-5 last week. Those of you looking for the 2011 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Cam Newton’s, first win of the season don’t look any further than this Sunday at 10 AM WST. He will be at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars and their rookie quarterback, Blaine Gabbert, who I can assure you will play like what he is, a rookie quarterback. The game has been waiting for a player of Newton’s caliber and now he is finally here. He is a big man who knows the playbook, can throw, can run between the tackles and can even take a hit. Don’t worry too much about last weeks 3 interceptions. He was just trying to force the ball to his star wide receiver Steve Smith which I know will not happen again. Newton will learn his lesson and mix up his targets and remember Smith is a little guy, only 5 foot 9 and 185 pounds, he can’t jump over anybody.

2011 Fantasy Football 101

Having just done a Fantasy Football Draft and Mock Draft I have made many observations. Chris Johnson who you can argue is the best Fantasy Football Player is only going as high as 5th in most draft due to everyone being so scared he isn’t going to sign, if you can draft Johnson 2nd (Adrian Peterson is still number 1) or lower, draft Johnson, he will sign and before the season (or miss a game or two at worst but make up for it with his rested body). Oddly for the first time in a long time there are alot of questionable running backs. Some are overrated, some are too small, some are too injury prone and some just have too much wear and tear. As always I think you should draft two running backs first but with one major cavet, if you can’t draft AP, Johnson or Ray Rice draft Megatron, Calvin Johnson. You might ask why? The thing is fantasy football is about points and value. Your first pick should be a sure thing to get you those points not a questionable pick just to draft a running back first.

Moving on to Quarterbacks, let someone else take Michael Vick, his numbers will regress this season just like his numbers regressed throughout last season. Of course people are taking Aaron Rodgers way too high due to his Super Bowl MVP. Wait till the fourth round to sixth rounds to get Tony Romo (healthy and ready to dominate), Matt Ryan or even Peyton Manning (who will most likely only miss one or two games).

Now while I love the idea of drafting Miles Austin in the fourth round remember the Dallas Cowboys have another stud wide receiver in Dez Bryant who will get the ball just as much and will most likely have very similar production and can be had in the fifth to sixth round therfore providing greater value.

While it’s always cool to draft a stud Tight End in Antonio Gates, Vernon Davis or Jason Witten in the fourth to fifth round remember your considered about value not just having a stud at every position. This isn’t the Olympics where China makes everyone play a different sport to get the most amount of medals. If there is a player who can get you more value take them instead and rememeber in the 10th round to 14th round you can draft Kellen Winslow (who is bound to have a BIG season one day if he can only behave himself a tad) or Zach Miller.

Looking over my 2011 Fantasy Football Draft I am quite pleased with myself while I would have prefered to have drafted Tony Romo or Peyton Manning I feel Matt Ryan will get me very similar value. Other than that it’s true there will be some weeks when I only have two wide recievers but I will get more than enough value from Megatron and Hines Ward or the two Cowboys that missing one wide reciever won’t be that much of a loss. Of course I wanted AP, Johnson or Ray Rice but they were all gone and as always with running backs they do wear down and who’s know for sure how good they would have been this season while Megatron will get the job. After that I know people like Felix Jones but can he take a hit, get enough carries and most importantly will he score more than 5 touchdowns? These are all solid questions. I was quite pleased with my drafting Ronnie Brown in the fourteenth round due to his explosion about to be properly used in Philadelphia especially in goal line situations and being kept fresh with his no longer having to be the lead back.

Terrelle Pryor a Raider!

Terrelle Pryor gangster rapped his way out of Ohio State all the way to Oaktown (as a third-round pick in Monday’s NFL supplemental draft). But can Pryor play? I really don’t think he is a starting quarterback in the NFL but then again none of the Oakland Raiders quarterbacks are anything special. Hopefully he plays wide receiver or tight-end where he will be able to have a solid career due to his explosiveness. Don’t worry too much about his five game suspension just worry about not missing game six and after of his rookie season. He will be fun to watch. He will play a little bit of everything, wide receiver, tight-end and quarterback.

T-Mobile’s $50 Unlimited Everything Plan

T-Mobile’s has just launched a $50 Unlimited Voice, Text and Date Plan with no Contracts but I do wonder why did I have to spend so much of my day fighting with T-Mobile in America and the Philippines (on the phone) just to find out you REALLY need to call a T-Mobile Store? Luckly if you go to a T-Mobile Store you can sign up and put down your $50 for the month. Then for every other month you would like service you would just go online and pay another $50 for that month or you can even put down more than $50 and T-Mobile will automatically provide you service for as many months as you paid for. Now that I have made it easy for you, you will no longer have any excuse to miss out the latest happenings in sports, fantasy sports, basketball shoes, sports videos games and most importantly Cloud Fantasy!

Where to TO, Moss and Ocho?

Three of our favorite and three of the best wide receivers have big question marks about where they are headed for next season. Terrell Owens has drawn the New England Patriots interest in while they were slight rumors of the New York Jets but they have bigger interest in Randy Moss and Plaxico Burress. Mind you the Jets are willing to spend on current wide receiver Santonio Holmes but all reports are they will low ball their other current wide receiver Braylon Edwards.

Now Chad Ochocinco’s situation is a bit more interesting, he isn’t a free agent like the other wide receivers but he is due $6 million for next season which his current team, the Cincinnati Bengals, are mostly likely going to cut him then look to resign him. The New Patriots name comes up yet again after that the Washington Redskins or Chicago Bears might be looking to make a free agent splash and of course the Cincinnati Bengals. Of course Ocho’s preference will be the Patriots, then the Bear, then the Bengals and lastly the Redskins.

I can’t tell you for sure where all of these wide receivers will end up. Most likely the Patriots will sign TO if not TO and Ocho. After that the Jets will get their man, Randy Moss.

2011 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is this Thursday and you don’t know if you should watch or not. I mean the players are on strike should you too go on strike and not watch? Well, the NFL Draft might be no NBA Draft but at least the first round is always a worthwhile experience especially considering for the second year in a row it’s on a Thursday in Prime Time. But do Tivo it now, it’s on Thursday at 5 PM WST on ESPN and watch it when your free. I would tell you to watch it live but there is no over the top excitement where your forced to watch it live because you will die with anticipation otherwise as there is with the NBA Draft. Just make sure and avoid any sports programming, websites and friends that talk sports in the meantime.
