Is Monta Ellis disrespecting the ladies and AND1 at the same time? By now we all know about the sexual harassment lawsuit a woman is suing Ellis for and his wearing of Air Jordan’s during this season after he was suppose to be wearing his latest signature shoe with AND1, the M8 Empire. He was pictured with the M8 Empire just a few months ago on the cover of Kicks # 14. Now not only is he wearing Air Jordan’s but AND1 no longer has M8 on the name of these shoes but just Empire. He was wearing Air Jordan’s as early as the Golden State Warriors Picture Day before the season even started. My sources are telling me AND1 found out about the woman’s allegations in advance of the general public finding out a few weeks ago and dropped Ellis and renamed his signature shoe to simply Empire and called it a day leading Ellis to start wearing Air Jordan’s and push hard to be a Jordan Brand Athlete.
