In early 2012 the best Jordan Fly Wade 2 colorway will be releasing, White-Black-Red, but after giving them a spin I am not quite so sure you should be picking them up. Normally I would just be pushing for a White-Blue or a White-Grey colorway which trust me I still am but what gives me pause is the lack of any kind of cushioning I respect. They feature a full length Lunarlon midsole which is basically the same BS Lunar Foam you hated a few years back from the Hyperdunks of 2008 (the ones Kobe wore at the 2008 Olympics) but with two layers of Lunar Foam. Yeah, that sounds bad and it is. 
During my quick spin I kept asking myself for $145 why can’t I get full length Zoom Air preferably with Double the Zoom Air in the heel? Zoom Air as you might recall feels light, sexy and fast like the world is yours. Lunarlon feels like the double Lunar Foam that is, just two levels of Foam. I talked with numerous people who own shoes with a full length Lunarlon midsole and they all told me, “it’s ok, it’s no Zoom Air or 360 Air!”
Now am I am telling you not to buy the Jordan Fly Wade 2? No, of course not. I am telling you to wait till early 2012 so I find out if they will make a Jordan Fly Wade 2.5 or a Playoff or a Low Top Version where hopefully there will be Air of your liking plus there might be better colors and maybe even a Nike iD.
