If you like defense than you would have loved today’s match up pitting the Los Angeles Lakers at the Orlando Magic. Ron Artest liked it so much he had the word defense writen in 3 different languages on his head. Former Warrior Matt Barnes liked it so much, he played defense on Kobe Bryant like his life depended on it, pictures inside to prove it. The Magic won 96-94 in a tightly contested match up complete with a buzzing beating miss by Kobe.
Matt Barnes was all over Kobe to the point that there were numberous fouls drawn on both parties. There was even a double technical called. Barnes really went for it by going old school and faking throwing the ball right at Kobe’s face while taking the ball out. Not really sure how much it messed with Kobe. But Kobe didn’t flinch on the fake which was impressive. Can’t make things easy on the NBA Champions.
