Fav5 Week 14 Pickups

Devin Thomas

Week 14 is here, its time to make or break for your fantasy team.  You do want to get into the playoffs?

1.  Devin Thomas WR – WAS – Devin Thomas had the best game of his career last week, catching seven balls for 100 yards and two scores.  He should be able to continue this hot streak against the Raiders this week.  Campbell has been throwing the ball extremely well over the past few weeks, and this shouldn’t change this week.

2. Quinton Ganther RB – WAS – He was just named the starting running back for the Redskins a few days ago.  He is a Fairfield High alumni, like myself, and he will be back home in the bay this weekend facing the Raiders.  He will be ready to produce for the home team crowd, because let’s face it; the Raiders can’t pull it off two weeks in a row right?  Ganther should score a touchdown with about 100 yards rushing.

3. Dayone Bess WR – MIA – Bess has been Chad Henne’s number one target as of late.  The Dolphins have a ton of receivers that they throw to, but you have to ride the hot receiver week to week.  Bess caught ten balls for 117 yards and a touchdown last week.  He faces the Jaguars this week, and he should be able to produce the same numbers he did last week.

4. Garret Hartley K – NO – Yes I am picking a kicker, the reason for this is that he plays for the New Orleans Saints.  Everyone on the Saints should be added to any fantasy league format.  He scored 14 points last week, and those points could be vital come playoff time or to get you into the playoffs.

5. Bo Scaife TE – TEN – Scaife will continue to be the number one tight end for the Titans this week.  He produced a touchdown last week with five catches.  He should get key looks in the red zone with the Titans playing the Rams this week.  I have a feeling they will want to put up points to make up for the feeling of losing to the Colts the week before.  The Rams are a cure for all kinds of ailments.
